William Bowers Obituary

William Joseph Bowers died peacefully at his residence in Brookline on February 1st, 2017. A former member of the faculty at Northeastern University, he continued his research at SUNY Albany. He is survived by his children, Steven, Michael, Paul, Anna, and Nina Bowers, his sister, Barbara Bowers, grandson, Frank Bowers, and former spouses, Deborah Good and Jane Bowers. His family will be receiving visitors at 1550 Beacon Street, 3rd floor in Brookline on Sunday, February 5th between 12-3pm. A memorial service will be planned at a future date in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his name to the Foundation for Fighting Blindness and the Southern Center for Human Rights.
