Myrtle Beach
Kate Elizabeth Eason, age 32, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Born in Newport, VT, Kate was the daughter of Douglass and Deborah Haselton. She was a registered nurse at Carolina Bone and Joint Surgery Center. Kate was a gentle soul and free spirit who touched everyone she met. She loved to shop, especially for shoes and jeans and always remained frugal. She wholeheartedly made the earth a better place. Kate loved her family and her husband
Survivors include her husband Christopher Lynn Eason of Myrtle Beach; her parents; a brother Kurt Douglass Haselton and wife Michelle; grandparents Grammy and PaPa Simoneau; father-in-law William Eason (Linda); mother-in-law Barbara Eason; brother-in-law Michael Eason; two sisters-in-law Michelle Sykes (Steve), Lauri Springsteen (Eric), numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins along with a great number of friends.
A Celebration of Life will occur from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Wednesday November 5, 2014 at the Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet with a vigil at 7:00 pm. A second Celebration will take place in Vermont at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society, LLS MA Chapter, 9 Erie Dr, Natick, MA 01760

Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing. Kate always had a special smile for me, they will remain forever etched in my heart.
