David T. Grose

David T. Grose, a local artist, passed away Wednesday, February 24th, 2016. Mr. Grose was a few weeks shy of his 95th birthday. Sixty five of those years were spent with his wife Mar git Wale Grose on Cape Cod in Dennis, Mass. Margit and David spent a productive life raising two children, Margaret and Daniel, and ran a business together, Grose Gallery, for over forty years. David was an extraordinarily intelligent, dignified, and gifted person in all the arts. He was one of the world's top experts on silk screen printing. David was also a master painter, wood engraver, and illustrator. David was also known to write well and play almost every musical instrument if not well then at least musically. As a member of the greatest generation he was very giving of his time. David will be missed very much by his family; wife Margit, children Peggy and Daniel, and grandchildren Nichol and Mary.
