Dear Mary Jo and Scott,
I am so sorry for your loss. The wonderful memories of your life with her growing up will get you through. The passage of time really does help. When you look around at your large family with all the kids and realize that your mom was a part of it all it is really quite amazing. Take care guys and Mary Jo let's call Julie and try to get together for breakfast or something.

I have such fond memories of your mom. My first meeting was at that small apartment on Grand ave. in the basement right after Terese was born. I was about 12 at the time. One of the things she taught me to love was classical music. Everytime I came to babysit, she would have KUOM on the dial. I would change it to a popular station playingt the hits ofthe day. But every time I went back, KUOM was back on the air. I made no impression on her taste but she made quite an impression on me.
Your mom and dad also overpayed me for my services., but I didn't object. I learned Lots from at least 5 of you.
I am truly sorry to hear of her passing, though I know her life is so much better now.
With much love to you,
Mary Lou (Collopy) Hottinger
