Nelson and family were the most generous family and close friends I was fortunate to have growing up in Brockton and while in High School working part time at Ald en Jewelry during after school.
I loved his whole family and have never forgot them!
Please accept my deepest regrets.
Love to your family that reached ouut to me and allowed me to feel accepted!
Love to all,

Barbara, I just learned of Nelson's passing yesterday at a yearly gathering of some support staff from R&G. To a person, we all remembered Nelson with such fondness. He was one of the genuinely nicest guys I ever worked who showed respect for all people. It was so clear that he adored you and his family.
I'm sending all of you my sympathies.

Dear Barbara, Carolyn & Doug, Nelson was a quiet man who spoke volumes in everything he did. He was the kindest, generous, and most ethical person I have ever worked with and an individual I measure myself and all against. His pride in his family was always obvious when he spoke of you all - always with a twinkle in his eye. My sorrow is deep at your loss, but grateful to have been able to know and work with such a wonderful man as Nelson. With my deepest sympathy,

We will always treasure our friendship with Nelson. Although we have lived many miles away for many years, we always kept in touch. How blessed we were to be able to share a vacation with him and Barbara just a week before he passed away. We will always remember him as the very dearest of friends.

Dear Barbara,
I had the pleasure of working with Nelson in the Labor Dept. at R&G for many years. He was, without a doubt, one of the kindest and gentlest human beings I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He will be missed.

Nelson has been and always will be one of my forever lifetime friends. To be in his presence was always special. He had a rare, uncanny way of listening and actually hearing and understanding what was being said. He was a strong character and leader as well as a kind, generous, caring one of a kind man. I am a thankful and grateful person for having known and walked a few paths with him.
Love to his family and may they all carry him carefully in their hearts throughout the years to come.
