Andrew Baker Obituary

Andrew Robert Baker, lifelong resident of Holbrook, passed away peacefully with his wife, parents, relatives and many friends at his side at New England Medical Center, July 12, after a very courageous three-year battle with cancer. Andrew grew up in Holbrook and graduated from Holbrook High School in 2002. He worked at Brooks Lumber Supply for six years. He was also on the town of Randolphs Auxiliary Police Department and the Mount Ida College Security Department. Andrew was a former Cub Scout. He played football, soccer, Little League and was on the wrestling team. He also loved to fish, scuba dive and ride motorcycles. Andrews greatest joy was spending as much time as he could with his wife, Kerri, and his daughter, Olivia. He would like to thank all the people from the Brooks Lumber Company for all the things they did for him in his last years. He also wanted to acknowledge his co-workers from the Randolph Auxiliary Department, the Mount Ida College Security Department and a special thank you to his best friend, Keith Lazaron. He was the beloved husband of Kerri (Lazaron) Baker of Holbrook; loving father of Olivia Rose Baker of Holbrook; loving son of Robert and Ann (Jolicoeur) Baker of Holbrook; brother of Michelle and her husband Paul Hoffman of Bridgewater. Also survived by his grandparents, Virginia (Guarino) Baker of Walpole, wife of the late Louis Baker, and William J. Jolicoeur Jr. of Holbrook, husband of the late Therese (Sheehan) Jolicoeur; three nephews, James and Robert Hoffman and Jake Lazaron; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were held July 19. Arrangements were made by the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 South Franklin St., Holbrook. Donations in Andrew's memory may be made to Tufts New England, North 8, 800 Washington St., Boston, MA, or the Olivia Rose Baker Educational Fund, 204 South St., Holbrook, MA 02343.

Andrew, what can I say, other than I miss u bud. We were best friends for life. I can remember all the times we had together! Going to the range, and shooting your favorite pistols, hanging down at Foxwoods expecting that big winning, or working on Randolph and Mount Ida. All these memories will not be forgotten. I will always remember your favorite words; yes, yes, yes, and we cant forget "Super Duper Guys".. Always remember good friends are hard to come by. You are and will always be my best friend. That title is yours. Till we meet again, I love you man. RIP, your best man, KEITH

Dear Bob, Ann, Heather and Family,

I read of Andrew’s death and I wish to extend my deepest condolences. Andrew was a student at the High School when I worked there and I had the pleasure of knowing him. I admired his intensity and his integrity and I always looked forward to seeing his friendly smile. It sounds that, despite his illness he lived his life with courage and confidence. Once again, please accept my deepest sympathy.
