Helen Powers Obituary

Helen V. (Gill) Powers, of Randolph, passed away March 5, 2016, at the age of 95. Wife of the late Harold T. Powers, she was the loving mother of James F. Jim Powers and his wife Paula of Randolph and Harold T. Buddy Powers Jr. and his wife Leslie of Scituate; dear Nana of Jay Powers and his wife AnnMarie of Marshfield, Tom Powers and his wife Heather of Halifax, Denise Haley and her fiance Shawn MacLeod of Humarock, Michael Powers and his wife Jenna of Mansfield, Marianne Christian and her husband Pete of Scituate, Sean Powers of Braintree and Eric Powers and his wife Jenn of Scituate; dear Mimi of 12 great-grandchildren. Helen was born in Boston and had lived in Randolph for many years. She will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main Street (Rte. 28), Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Randolph. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helens name to the Multiple Sclerosis of Greater New England,101A First Ave., Waltham, MA 02451.
