Dear Charlie
Please accept my deepest sympathy at the passing of Dr. Joe. Although I only met him once at your home where I stayed for a week as you convinced him that we were landscapers in disguise. He would come home and just look at us and not say a word. Well we finished the lawn and we were off to San Francisco. I enjoyed the company of Dr. Joe and your mother. He was a very kind man and what we call one of " The good guys who truly cared about his fellow man "

Sending my condoles to the Corson family in this difficult time.
I work with Charles and had never met Joe, I did have the pleasure of driving with Charles a couple of times when Joe was on speakerphone.
The routine discussions about a meal or health care worker offered me a window on the relationship between a loving son and a dad approaching sunset.
Caring for an aging parent calls upon all virtues, I felt the wit, courage, temperance, and honor between father and son play out as I sat as a fly on the wall listening to the nightly checklist.
Charles spoke often of his dad around the office, small things like a missing hearing aid or what the crockpot meals will be for the week, all prepared in advance with love by Charles and Miriam.
I'm sure Charles would turn in his worldly possessions for one more check-in with dad on how he liked the turkey tetrazzini.
Peace.

May God's promise found in John 6:40, of the hope to see our loved ones again, comfort your heart and give you peace, strength, and hope in the days ahead.
