David Peach Obituary

David Alexander Peach, age 67, passed on peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday November 16, 2017. Born January 28, 1950 he lived his entire life in Marblehead, Massachusetts. After graduating from Marblehead High School and starting college, he felt the call to duty and enlisted in the Army where he served from 1969 to 1971. Upon returning to Town, married his wife Karen in 1974, and together went on to raise two sons. David worked in the family construction business, a labor of love that he would continue the rest of his life. A lifelong Christian Scientist perhaps best known for his warm smile and enthusiastic wave from his green Jeep those who knew him best will remember him as a true Marbleheader. David carried a quite pride, shaped by the Peach heritage in Town, strong sense of morals, high standard in his work, and deep love and affection for his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Karen, his son William and wife Julie, and their children Benjamin, Abigail and Samuel, his son Thomas and wife Samantha, and his brother Edward and wife Patricia. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in the name of David Peach may be made to the Christian Science Church 134 Elm Street in Marblehead.

Dear Karen, I'm so sorry to hear of David's passing. I can remember the two of you riding around town sitting side by side in his truck. It was so sweet. Also remember watching your house being built. My thoughts are with you & your family. I pray for strength for you Karen.
