David R. Busch

David Ryan Busch, 27, of NYC, formerly Needham, MA, passed away on April 20th, 2018 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City of cardiac arrest. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Needham High School, MA, (09) MA and Lynchburg College, VA (13). He will be remembered for his affable personality and his eclectic interests. David Ryan loved boating and was skilled at powerboats and sailboats, alike. He loved spending time with his family, but also traveled widely and enjoyed meeting new people, from hiking the Andes to playing ping- pong with the locals in China. He played golf and was proud of his hole-in-one. He loved plants and collected cacti. He had an appreciation of the arts, visiting museums, collecting modern furniture, and playing music; guitar, piano, bass. Of them all, probably his favorite was taking his friends and family boating and fishing on Buzzards Bay. He was a valued employee of Thyssenkrupp Elevator Corporation, NYC. He was a wonderful companion and will be sorely missed by his family and his many friends. David Ryan leaves behind his parents, John and Marcy Busch, Needham MA, his sister Melanie, NYC, his grandmother, Joan McCain, NY, girlfriend Meredith Brown, and many loving relatives. A memorial service will be held at his familys home in South Dartmouth, MA on June 9th, 2018 from 12:00 until 2:00pm.
