Max ABBOTT Obituary
ABBOTT, Max Edward
May 3, 1982 - July 28, 2010
Cherished and loving son of Richard and Dixie Abbott; dear brother of Allison Abbott; caring grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Max was born and lived his life in Sacramento. He attended local schools and most recently completed his junior year at CSUS as a psychology major. He was a talented writer and artist, an outstanding gourmet cook and candy maker, an accomplished woodworker, a non-judgmental observer of human nature, an occasional mischievous prankster, an enthusiastic adventurer, a generous friend, and a gentleman. Max was predeceased by his grandfathers, Todd Chappell and Aaron Abbott. In addition to his parents and sister, he is survived by his grandmothers Naomi Chappell and Kathryn Abbott; uncles and aunts Mitchell and Mary Abbott, Janette and Bill Fulcher, and Mary and Leo Black; cousins Nate Black, Mike Abbott, Todd Black, Sperry Fulcher, Erika Gretler, and Monique Fulcher; special friend Briana Burnette; numerous extended family members and friends; and fond acquaintances in the community as well as abroad. Because of limited space at the selected venue, Max's memorial service was held privately. I am so sorry to read of Max's passing. I was one of his journalism instructors at American River College. What a star he was at The Current! He and Briana were so good together. Sending you blessings during the holidays and always.
