Nancy E. Plaster

1933 - 2020

Nancy Elizabeth (Watson) Plaster, 87, passed away peacefully at home on October 31st, 2020 in Hingham. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Richard and survived by her five children and their spouses: Dennis and Cindy Plaster of Needham, Molly Plaster and Rich Ahern of Abington, Sarah Plaster and Andrew Slavens of Columbus, GA, Michael and Jennifer Plaster of Mooresville, NC, and Elizabeth and Christian Barnard of Austin, TX, along with twelve grandchildren: Blakely Plaster and husband Patrick Duffy, Courtney (Plaster) and Rob Anderson, Michaela (Plaster) and Dave Cogran, Devon Plaster, Elizabeth (Bao) and Michael Ford, Emily (Bao) and Josh Lazarus, Kyle Plaster, Brandon Plaster, Emma Slavens, Hannah Barnard, Amelia Barnard and Ethan Barnard and six great-grandchildren: Asher Duffy, Brynley and Chase Anderson, Colton and Harlow Cogran and Isabel Ford. Nancy was born on June 27th, 1933 in Lafayette, Indiana to parents Francis D. Watson and Frances E. (Wright) Watson. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Lafayette. Nancy received her degree from Purdue University in Bacteriology in 1955 and went on to work for the Listerine Corporation, before marrying her high school sweetheart, Richard T. Plaster on September 7th, 1957. They lived in Needham before retiring in Yarmouth Port and wintering on Amelia Island, Florida. Nancy was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Always giving of herself, not only to family, but friends and her community, Nancy faithfully spent time volunteering throughout her life. She was full of energy, honesty and love in all of her endeavors, which included travel and golf with her husband and creating a home full of humor, love and warmth. Nancy will be forever cherished by her family and friends for her unconditional love.
