Gary Nardone Obituary

Gary J. Nardone, 63, of Bellingham, died surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at the Milford Regional Medical Center after multiple illnesses. He was the beloved husband of Karen (Hayward) Nardone for 28 years. Gary was born in Newton on June 24, 1953. He grew up in Needham, graduated from Needham High School in 1971, and was employed by Coca-Cola in Needham for 35 years. Gary and his family have been residents of Bellingham since 1993. He actively volunteered for the Boy Scouts in Bellingham and served as the Advancement Coordinator for Troop 14. He was an avid baseball fan who loved playing golf and working on cars. He also enjoyed making his own wine and spending time at the family lake house. He is survived by two children, Victoria Nardone of Springfield and Anthony Nardone of Northborough, as well as his mother Constance (Lessard) Nardone of Needham and his father Richard Nardone and his wife Margaret of Concord, NH. Gary is also survived by his sister Gail Sammarco and her husband Peter of Westford, his brother David Nardone and his wife Sirima of Bangkok, Thailand, his brother Ken Nardone and his wife Nancy of Bennington, VT, and his sister Joyce Willette and her husband Gene of Sudbury. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, March 1st, from 4 | 8 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com). Funeral services will be private at Gary's request. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Garys memory to Boy Scouts Troop 14, c/o Kathy Antonellis, 17 Monique Drive, Bellingham, MA 02019.
