Frederick Solari Obituary

Frederick Charles Solari, age 70, of Marshfield, died on January 2, 2018 after a long courageous battle with Breast Cancer. Born in Plymouth, Mass. on February 2, 1947. He is predeceased by his father, Frederick Charles Solari and mother Cora Jones Solari, his sisters Antonia Beatrice Stark and Christina May Solari and a nephew, Eric Starck. He leaves his sister Margarita S. Burpee and her husband Robert of Duxbury and sister, Margo E. Dunmore and her husband Earl Rettig of Lake Zurich, Ill. He also leaves eleven nieces and nephews and nineteen great-nieces and nephews. Fred attended Wentworth Institute and the University of Massachusetts, Boston, Mass. His career and hobbies included building cars, boats, furniture, cabinetry and home remodeling; in addition he enjoyed writing poetry and non-fiction. He had a great love of the woods of the south shore and enjoyed kayaking, canoeing and snow skiing especially at Tuckermans Ravine, N.H. There will be a private graveside service in the Spring.
