Shelby L. Robertson

Shelby Lynne (Young) Robertson, 47, of Plymouth, MA, passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2019 in Plymouth. Shelby was born in Plymouth to John and Sandra Young on April 12, 1971. She was a 1989 graduate of Duxbury High School. Shelby was a long time employee at Walmart, where she made many friends who she fondly referred to as her work family. Her many talents included crocheting, crafting, and cake decorating. Shelby will be remembered for her quick wit, her love of family parties, and above all, for being a devoted and selfless mother. Shelby is survived by her husband Shawn Robertson and her children, Riley Robertson and Zack Robertson, of Plymouth, her father John Young, of Plymouth, her sister Carla Loring and her partner Roy Eaton, of Plymouth, her brother Chris Loring and his wife Maureen Loring, of Middleboro, her sister Caryn Duncan and her partner Jeffrey Howe, of Plymouth, her brother John Young, of Cotuit, her sister Marylue Young, of Cranston, RI, as well as a plethora of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Young, and her brother Kevin Loring. A graveside service will be held at the Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury on Saturday, February 2, at 11:00 am, immediately followed by a celebration of Shelby's life at the Royal Garden in Kingston.
