Violet Netto Obituary

Violet (Lopes) Netto, age 102, of Plymouth, formerly of South Carver and Pawtucket, R.I., died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late John Netto; devoted mother of Joseph Fontes and his wife Rita of Sharon, Maria Fontes of Plymouth, Patricia Chor of New Bedford, Joan Fontes of Plymouth, Henry Fontes and his wife Rita of Edinburg, Texas, Manuel Fontes of Plymouth, Richard Fontes and his wife Elaine of Natick and Frank Fontes and his wife Judith of Carver; loving grandmother of 24; great-grandmother of 38; great great-grandmother of four; and great great great-grandmother of four; dear sister of the late Virginia Perry; and dear aunt of Barbara Curtis of California. Visiting hours were held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rte. 106), Kingston, Sunday, March 24, 2013, from 2-5 p.m. Funeral services were at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, Monday, March 25, 2013, at 9 a.m., followed by her funeral Mass at Saint Peter's Church, 86 Court St., Plymouth, at 10 a.m. Interment in the Union Cemetery, Rte. 58, Carver.
