Ralph Mirra Obituary

Mr. Ralph V. Mirra 62 of Danvers, beloved husband of Connie (Gianarelis) Mirra, died Sunday, March 16th, 2014 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston surrounded by his family. Born in Brookline, he was the son of the late Norino and Mary (Trofa) Mirra. He was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School, Class of 1969. He continued his education at Bentley College earning his Bachelors degree in business and accounting. A well-known and successful business man, Ralph was the Co-owner of Mirra Company Incorporated of Georgetown. He specialized in real-estate development. A loving husband, father, brother and uncle, Ralph was a member of the Masonic Order A.F. & A.M. was avid golfer and enjoyed all sports. He was devoted to his family above all else and will be deeply missed. In addition to his loving wife of 28 years, Ralph is survived by his loving daughter, Adriana G. Mirra of Danvers, his devoted brother, Norino Mirra and his wife Joanne of Rye, N.H., his nieces and nephews, Norino J. Mirra, Natalie Wright and her husband Justin, Christopher Mirra and Jennifer Mirra, his special cousins, Vincent & Maria Vinciguerra and family of West Newbury and Antonio and Gilda Mirra and family of West Newbury, his six God Children, Alexandra Carinos, Sandra Capo, Christina Pierce, George Gianareles, Norino J. Mirra and George Hall, many extended family and dear friends and his cherished canine companion Gucci. His funeral will be held from the Peterson-ODonnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers, Thursday, March 20, at 10:00 A.M. followed by his funeral service in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Danvers at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Ralphs memory to the Danvers People to People Food Pantry, 12 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
