Dear Mrs. Peterson and Family,
My thoughts are with you during this most difficult time.
I was a patient of Dr. Peterson's as a little girl and through my teen years.
I was able to call him a few years ago and tell him what I had been able to do with my life.
You see, he encouraged me to be all that I can. Thanks to his belief in me, I am an independent social worker in private practice .
I am good today, married, 4 beautiful child, and two of my children are married.
This would not have been possible without his compassion, faithfulness and concern. He made an indelible mark on my life and consequently my children's and family's life.
Thank you for sharing him with the world.

Dear Mrs Peterson, Earl and Pamela, I just heard about the passing of Dr. Peterson, when talking to a neighbor about their grandchild. My son was a patient of Dr. Peterson in 1980 in NY. I was living in Long Island and was referred to him by a LI neurologist. I remember a kind, gentle man who's knowledge and compassion calmed all my fears and left a mark on my life. My son is fine today with two beautiful children. I will always remember him.......Ruth Spagna

Dear Mrs. Peterson and Family,
I just learned of Dr. Peterson's death. I send my heartfelt expressions of sympathy, friendship and remembrance to each of you. Dr. Peterson was my neurologist at NY hospital as a little girl. It was under his care, his wisdom, expertise, and faithfulness as a physician in 198 I was cured of t illness I was referred to him by. My mom was plagued with a horrendous cancer all through my illness under Dr. Peterson's care. Often my mom was in patient hospitalized at NY hospital for long hospital stays. Dr. Peterson came to see how Mom was an how my Dad was holding up. A rare and special physician, friend of my family's and healed me of this illness. I will always be grateful to him, he made this world a better place and is already deeply missed. My prayers, thoughts and friendship to each of you, Jennifer Wilson

So sorry to learn Dr. Peterson has died. I was a resident in Pediatrics at Cornell in the late sixties. Dr. Peterson was a superb clinician, teacher and gentleman. His consultations were among the best and as a role model and physician he was in a class apart. Best regards to his family and thanks to them for having shared him with generations of students.

Dear Deb, Pam, Earl, and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. I don't remember a time when I did not know you all. I will always remember Barb referring to Pete and Jim as the "bears on rollerskates" as they drove around in their little sports cars. Pete will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through this difficult time. Betsy
