Maureen Hart Obituary

Maureen E. Hart, age 80, of Weymouth, formerly of Scituate, passed away on March 25, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Edward T. and Margaret P. Fitzgerald. Loving mother to Laura B. Beloved sister to Margot Fitzgerald, her spouse Carol Bay of NYC, Edward Fitzgerald, his wife Patty of West Palm Beach, FL, and the late Mary Lou Lee. Maureen graduated from Brookline High School and worked for the Boston City Hall for 30 years. Maureen was a former director of the City of Boston Credit Union for many years, and she held many different positions during her time served as a director; in fact her favorite time of the year was election day, and was often referred to as the lady who topped the ticket. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m., from St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate.
