I worked with Paul in NYC and Buffalo and considered him to be one of the nicest guys I had ever met. One year while I was in Boston Paul took me to a football game he was officiating and I was impressed with how important kid's sports were to him. His sense of humor was contagious and you could'nt have a better person to share stories with.
Sincere condolences to the Connolly family in your loss.

My deepest sympathies. When I think of Paul I think of the original "Dream team" of all those Boston Postal Inspectors to which he was a part of there in the 80's when I first became a Postal Inspector. Names of good inspectors you never forget and Paul was one of them.

I had the experience of working with Paul in the Boston Division at Christmas time. He was a very good fellow Inspector to work with.
I think it was either Keats or Shelly who said, "Everyman's death diminishes me." That is how I feel today after learning of Paul's passing. This is a reminder to us all that we are only here for a while.
