Eileen T. Keating

Eileen T. (Stone) Keating, 85, of Rockland, passed away on August 19, 2018. Born October 12, 1932, in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late C. Henry and Helen M. (Thompson) Stone. Eileen enjoyed romance novels and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Eileen was the mother of her loving children, Linda Lemieux and her husband Ron of Rockland and the late Catherine Keating, Joseph Keating and his surviving wife Ottena of Rockland; dear sister of Henry Stone and his wife Mary of Rockland, Carl Stone and his wife Joanne of TN and the late Shirley Varrasso; cherished grandmother of Jeffrey, Caitlin and Brianna Lemieux, and Joshua Keating. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water St., Rockland, on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 403 Union St., Rockland, on Thursday at 9 a.m. Burial to follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
