Kathleen M. Connolly

Kathleen M. Connolly, 59 of Rockland died Sept. 14, 2011 at South Shore Hospital. She was born in Malden, daughter of the late Alexander I. and Mary E. (White) Connolly and was raised and educated in Charlestown. She had made her home in Rockland since 1995. Kathleen had been employed as a registration clerk at Massachusetts General Hospital and during her youth she was a member of the Majestic Knights Drum Corps in Charlestown. She is survived by her husband, Peter F. Geraghty of Rockland; a son Christopher P. Hickey and his wife Lissette Alvarado of VA and a daughter Paula M. Hickey of Rockland. She was the sister of Kevin P. Connolly of Malden and Michael J. Connolly of Tewksbury. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jayden C. Hinds and Atticus A. Hickey. The family welcomed friends and loved ones to celebrate Kathleens life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland, Monday, Sept. 19, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church.
