Rebecca LHeureux Obituary

Rebecca Warner LHeureux, 24, of Dover, Massachusetts, Mirror Lake, New Hampshire, and Alexandria, Virginia passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 18, 2012. Becca was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated from the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut and received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in French and English from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Following her college graduation Becca worked as a research associate and as the executive assistant to the senior vice-president at The McCormick Group in Arlington, Virginia. A life-long equestrian, Rebecca competed and fox hunted extensively in the US and abroad, in addition to riding on the varsity equestrian team in college for all four years. She is the loving daughter of Mary Chilton Crane of Dover, Massachusetts and Robert James LHeureux of Mirror Lake, New Hampshire, and beloved sister of Katherine Winslow LHeureux of Dover, Massachusetts. She is survived by her maternal grandmother Louise Penhallow Crane of Dover, Massachusetts, many uncles and aunts including Jay and Anne Kirby of Marblehead, Massachusetts, Jack and Sarah Chandler of Sterling, Massachusetts, Mark and Elizabeth McCarter of Phoenix, Arizona, Nat and Lara Crane of Tuftonboro, New Hampshire, Annette L. LHeureux of Hull, Massachusetts, Diane M. LHeureux of Middletown, Rhode Island, Clifford W. LHeureux of Dania Beach, Florida, Paul and Trisha LHeureux of Orlando, Florida as well as 21first cousins and her boyfriend Derek LeComte of Arlington, Virginia. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Dover Church, 17 Springdale Avenue in Dover. Interment and a lakeside gathering will follow at the Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston. Friends and family are kindly invited.
