Clyde M. Adams Jr.

Clyde M. Adams, Jr. after a short illness passed away on February 13, 2021 at the age of 78. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Marilyn A. Adams (nee Lawson) of 50 years who he has missed dearly the past 7 years. He is lovingly survived by his daughter, Tammy A. Boardman and her husband, Kurt D., his grandson, Travis A. Boardman, his granddaughter, Kendall A. Boardman and his dog, Hank. He is also the brother of Francis C. Adams (Patricia) of KS. Mr. Adams was originally from Norwood MA where he graduated from high school and went on to enlist in the US ARMY and proudly served his country in Vietnam. He and his wife, Marilyn married and raised their daughter in Franklin MA. living in the same home for the next 48 years. For all his working career, he was a mechanic working on and building Propellers and Hubs for Naval and cruise ships, retiring from Rolls Royce Naval Marine of Walpole, Ma. After an early retirement Clyde created his own business Honey do Handyman and had many clients over the next 15 years. Clyde was an avid woodworker and furniture maker. He enjoyed traveling the world with his Bride and best friends Robert and Lulu Everett for over 30 years. Northern Maine is and will always be a place near and dear to his heart where his family homestead originated. In recent years, he and Hank were fortunate enough to move to Medford with his daughter, son in law and grandchildren and have been able to make lasting memories together. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation from 1-2pm and Memorial Service at 2pm on Sunday February 21 at the Bradley Funeral Home, 601 Rt. 73 South at Evesham Road, Marlton. It is the Adams' family desire that at a later date when we can gather safely a Celebration of Life will be held in Massachusetts to gather with friends and neighbors at that time. Clyde and Marilyn's urns will eventually be interred together at the Brig Gen Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clyde's memory to Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Drive, Voorhees NJ 08043.
