Rest in peace my dear friend. Richard will always be remembered for his random acts of kindness on a daily basis. I will be forever grateful for the times we spent together. He was my employer but he was also my best friend when I needed one. Richard played a tremendous part in who and what I am today. He always believed in me even when I did not believe in myself. Not only did he share his automotive skills with me but he demonstrated a great picture of perseverance. Richard was there for so many people in their time of need never thinking of himself, his dedication and patience was unmeasurable. For that I am greatful. I will miss you my friend.

Sorry, Kay, to read of Richard's passing. I knew his health was poor.
I don't know how many years the Westcotts were our next door neighbors on Lakeview Road. My siter, Judie and I played with , mostly Richard as the others were too young. We always loved hearing the chickens in the morning.
