Albert Valletta

Albert Valletta 86 of Wellesley,pass- ed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, Oct. 20th, 2018 He was the beloved husb- and of Joanne (Tosti) Valletta with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Devoted father of David Valletta of North Andover, Tammie Roberta and her husband Alfred of Medfield and Geoffrey Valletta of Newton. Cherished grandfather of Jonathan Roberta and his wife Eileen of Medfield and Philip Roberta of Watertown. Loving great grandfather of Jonathan and Nicholas Roberta. He was a dear brother to Jean and her late hus- band Guy DAmore of Medfield, the late Barbara and her husband Robert L. Buonato of Weston, Diane and her husband James Coletti II also of Weston. Albert grew up in Newton, a graduate of Newton High, he then went on to study at Franklin Tech. He became a well respected and succe- ssful builder, developer, and real estate investor. Albert and his family spent the summers in York Beach, Maine and winters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was a veteran of the Korean War, US Army. Visiting hours in the Magni FH, 365 Watertown St, Rt. 16, Newton, Monday, October 29 from 3-7PM. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 10:30AM in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St., Newton.
