Albert Ferullo Obituary

Albert J. Ferullo Jr. of Weymouth passed away on September 18, 2010 at Brigham and Womens Hospital. He was the son of the late Albert (Abby) and Florence Ferullo. Albert is survived by his loving wife, Helen (Walsh) Ferullo and his daughter Julianne Ferullo married to Daniel Stewart of Whitman. He was the proud grandfather of Griffin, Riley and Lauren. Albert was born, raised, educated and spent his entire life in Weymouth. He took pride in his Italian roots and took an interest in his heritage preparing and researching a genealogy on his familys history. He thoroughly enjoyed his time playing bocce at the South Quincy Italian Bocce Club and the Torre Del Paso. Al was also a member of the Weymouth Sons of Italy and a communicant of St. Jeromes Church in Weymouth. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Above all, Al was a loyal, caring and compassionate family man who loved his family and friends deeply. He was also the proud owner of Suburban Carpet Company for 45 years. He was brother-in-law to Maureen DaSilva, Milford, Kathleen and Donald DaSilva, Canton, Michael and Patricia Walsh, Braintree, Noreen and David Briand, Woburn, Martin Walsh, Weymouth and Peter and Marie Walsh of Hyde Park. He was the brother of the late Joyce Lyons. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends and also his Dog, Brandi. Funeral from the North Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home, 40 Sea St., (Bicknell Sq.), Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth. Visiting hours Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Interment at a later date.
