Carl F. Heger

Carl Frederick Heger was born in Weymouth, MA on March 24, 1931 and passed away at home due to prostate cancer, surrounded by family in Sun City, CA on July 7, 2011. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Patricia; two children Karen A. Heger and Kevin W. Heger (wife, Kelly); grandchildren Ashlee, Alisha, Scott, Lindsay and Patrick; brother Kenneth of Weymouth, MA; niece Kathleen of Weymouth, MA; and nephew Charles Heger (wife Carol) of Randolph , MA. Professionally Carl worked as a carpenter for over 30 years and he will always be remembered as Mr. Fix It, always assisting neighbors and sharing his skills. He also worked in the printing trade as well as a property manager. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and model railroading. He belonged to the South Shore Model Railroad Club in MA and Inland Empire Railroad Museum. He was a member of the Elks Lodge for 34 years. Family and friends will miss his helpful ways and loving spirit. Memorial services will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 26800 Newport Rd., Menifee, CA 92584, Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Hospice, 29826 Haun Rd.
