Rachel
I drove by your place yesterday there were no lights on, the place was dark, I wondered where you were; today I found out you were with Jesus,
Oh my dear friend the good times we had we laughed we cried, we sang. You opened up your home and heart to anyone in need. You let me use your kitchen when I had no place to cook we had some great meals in that place. Remember when I was making bread and I said I'm gonna put the dough in a bowl on the old radiator heater in the bedroom where it was warm so it could rise. You said, "you shouldn't leave it there" but I wouldnt listen, when we came back the dough raised so high it was rolling out over the sides of the bowl! You immediately started singing the song "Let it rise, let it rise". We laughed till we cried. You were a great friend, God made a very special person when he made you. You always wanted your family and friends around, making time for everyone no matter how busy you were you truly cared about the people in your life. You and Jan were so much fun to be around during a difficult time in my life, I will always be grateful to God for you. I don't know how it will be not hearing your laugh until I get to heaven but I know you are in the arms of Jesus - what more could I ask for a dear friend like you. Your life touched many people, everyone loved you Rach, and we will all miss you.

We are very saddened by the news of Rachel's passing. We've known her for decades and always admired her good nature and caring attitude towards others. We were able to see her several times this summer during a visit to Massachusetts. We send our deepest sympathy to her family of which she was so proud. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
