I met Bob this year when we moved to Massachusetts in February. He delivered our mail, here at Archstone. He was such a lovely man to speak to. I was very pregnant when we moved in and every day I'd waddle over to the mail box to pick up my mail and chat to Bob. I didn't know anyone here, Bob had a friendly face and was a kind man to talk to every day. He told me about the neighborhood, things to do and places to go. When I had my daughter Kate in April, we would both go to the mail box to pick up the mail and talk to Bob. I was saddened to hear what had happened. Our deepest condolences to his beloved family and friends.

I worked with Bob as his partner on the ambulance for quite some time back in the 90's with Brewster ambulance. I loved bob's sense of humur his ability to be a "true" friend, as well as a partner, we shared many a private story about one another's lives over those long hours locked up in a truck together waiting for a call. I heard this horrible news and was devestated knowing his family as my own had already lost a child was now as my own loosing a second child! My heart andprayers go out to Bob's family and may I say we all lost someone very special on Gods earth when we lost bob, he was always so full of life and a nice word to someone and or a funny story, I would ocaisionally bump into Bob over the years after leaving Brewster and It is now sad to know I no longer will.My love to his family. I am a better person for knowing Bob as well as I did. Shelly Clasby..

Robert, even though Darrell and I only saw you every couple of years, you were the kind of friend that we could show up on your doorstep one day, and we could pick right up where we left off. We shared many great memories over the years, and you will be missed. Until we meet again, God Bless.

"Robbit" as we called him for his strong Mass accent and I were friends since childhood. We used to ride our bikes to the square almost daily. The last time I saw him was at my grandmothers funeral two years ago. I am saddened by this loss of a great friend. He had such a jovial laugh and could tell a good joke with the best of them. Love ya, brother.

I met Bob at the Nursing home where I worked. He was always so friendly and he had a heart of gold! I loved his sense of humor and he could always make me laugh so hard. I lost touch of him and I am sad to hear he passed away. I am sure he will be missed by lots of people. God bless

I met Bob recently as he was delivering mail to our community mail hut. He was such guy he always gave my dogs a treat and was so friendly. I was thinking this morning about how my dogs would be so excited to see him today since they didn't get to during the rain these past few days. You will be missed! My condolences to your family.

Since the first grade at Union Street School I called him Robert. I am also fortunate to have called him my friend and have remained close since the day we first met. Robert was a part of our family and was present at every celebration and was there when we needed a shoulder to lean on. Robert's laugh was contagious and he brightened a room with his smile. I enjoyed our conversations and will truly miss my friend Robert. Mrs. Landers, you should be proud of the fine person you raised. God bless Robert.

Mr Landers delivered the mail to Ricciuti Dr where I live. Over the last year in particular we had a running dialog about the Celtics and their near championship last year. I was looking forward to continuing our conversation particularly after Shaq was signed. It's these little snippets of human interaction that make life enjoyable and for that I thank Mr. Landers. I will miss him.
