June Siebert

June Hazel Siebert, 53, beloved daughter, sister and friend, died of ovarian cancer on Sunday September 29, 2013 after an incredibly courageous fight. June was born on July 25, 1960 in Arlington, MA. to Mr. & Mrs. William F. Siebert Sr. She was raised in Wayland and graduated from Wayland High School, she then went on to get her degree in accounting from Massachusetts Bay College. June spent her summers on the Cape at the family home in Yarmouth Port and moved there permanently after graduating from college. She worked at various resorts throughout the Cape. June loved and cared for all creatures big and small. She devoted much if not all her spare time to her many beloved (rescue) cats and Shih Tzu dogs. She was the daughter of the late Pauline June Siebert-Laier. She is survived by her brother Dr. William F. Siebert Jr., brother-in law Dr. Paul Winkel all of Yarmouth Port; Brother, Wesley E. Siebert (Cacina) of Oklahoma City, OK. Nieces Amy Rey (Angel) of Miami, FL and Amanda Friend (Donald) of Indianapolis, IN. and her friend Lee Giroux of Yarmouth Port. June also leaves behind her much-loved pals Jordi & Stacy who will miss her very much. She was predeceased by her father William F. Siebert Sr. and step- father Carl Laier. A celebration of Junes life, was held in Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., So. Yarmouth, on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Interment followed in Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouth Port.
