Scott Schroeder Obituary

Scott Basil Schroeder, age 40 of Clare, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2025. He was born April 15, 1984 the son of Robert and Sandra (Sersaw) Schroeder. Scott went to Clare Public Schools and graduated in 2002. He worked as a builder most of his life; and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outside. Scott loved a big bonfire and telling stories. He had a hobby of putting together metal models. His greatest joy in life was his daughter; he will be missed by so many.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Kenzie (her mom Tasha); his mother Sandra Spicer; sisters Angela Schroeder-Palmer (Adam) and Wendy Spicer (Kye DeVries); 2 nephews Bryce and Jayce Spicer; various aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Schroeder; brother Jim Bob Schroeder; daughter Ryder, and his stepdad Tom Spicer.

His family is planning a celebration of life in June; he will be buried with his brother Jim Bob in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Clare. Arrangements were handled by the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be left at www.stephenson-wyman.com
