Corliss Elaine Taylor, 68, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, in her home located in Wimberley, Texas.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her sisters Sue Taylor and Sheryl Taylor and her brother Rodney (Laura) Taylor. Corliss was very proud of her nephew Mark (Kay Kay) Stevenson, niece Tami (Justin) Hernandez, nephew Joshua (Yuko) Hillman, nephew Christopher Hillman, and her special niece Danielle Taylor. She had many more nieces and nephews that she loved.

Corliss was born in St. Charles, Louisiana on November 16, 1953. Corliss attended High School at Bellaire High School in Bellaire, Texas. She was an entrepreneur in several professions, but she was known for her love of art. She loved all animals but was dearly attached to her dogs and cats. She also appreciated the deer in her area and would feed them regularly.

Corliss was a charismatic, fun loving, sister, aunt, and friend. People who met her went away feeling special because she was so kind to everyone. She loved to travel abroad and host parties. Although Corliss had many interests in life, her passion was her family, friends, and pets.

Catholic funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 7 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Wimberley. Reverend Chris Unachukwu will officiate. Interment will be in a private ceremony with her immediate family only.

Corliss is predeceased by her parents, Elles and Gertrude Taylor, and her siblings, Sandra Morren, Cathy Stutes, Pete Taylor, and Stacy McCain.

Her family expresses heartfelt appreciation to her dear neighbors and friends who have reached out in support of Corliss.
