Tom Gillespie Obituary
Tom is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beverly Gillespie; his daughters, April Cheek (husband, David) and Amy Downs (husband, Jarrett); his grandchildren: Rachel Fleming, Keith Fleming, Aletheia Young (husband, Jeremy), Thomas Downs (wife, Shelby), Abigail Tomlinson (husband, Chris), Stephen Downs (wife, Mariah), Jonathan Downs (wife, Jasmine), Evelyn Downs and Meleah Downs; and his great-grandchildren: Owen and Susanna Young and Eleanor Downs. He is also survived by his brother, Mike Gillespie (wife, Donna).
Services will be held January 27, 2025, at 10:30 am at First Baptist Church Wimberley at 15951 Winters Mill Pkwy, Wimberley, TX 78676.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to www.imb.org.

Beverly, I were so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I hope his service today was uplifting and comforting for you and your family. I'll always remember Tom and Jack Burton coming to visit us after visiting Woodlawn and inviting us to join and especially Tom inviting me to join the choir. I so enjoyed being in his choir and getting to know you both through the years. We are praying for you and your family as you go forward. Judy Davis

One of my favorite people. Always smiling and always happy!! I will miss that smile and those sparkling eyes!! I got to be his dentist for 14 years and we will miss him dearly. Sending our love to Beverly and his entire family!!
