I cared for Dedric at RNH the last part of his life, and let me say it was my treat! This man was always so full of energy even on his "bad days". We would share stories of our kids and he would give me advice on being a parent. I should show pictures of my son who he nick named "Mack" (He couldn“t pronounce my sons name, but it seemed too close to a character from Gun Smoke so it stuck). A few weeks ago before I went on vacation I had surprised Dedric and brought my son in to see him. His eyes completely lit up and he was so happy to finally meet the boy with the blue eyes. I have shared many great memories caring for Dedric. An incredible man.
