Abigail Bryant Obituary

BRYANT Abigail Bryant joined the circle of angels on Friday, Feb. 1, 2008. For 25 years, Abi brought much joy and laughter to those who loved her. She was a witty, critical thinker who graduated in December with a psychology degree from UNC-Greensboro. She was a student of Buddhism, a dedicated Democrat, a vociferous reader and a true fashion diva. Abi loved her pets, Seamus, Chester and Eddy, with all her heart and would appreciate donations in lieu of flowers to the Forsyth Humane Society in Winston-Salem. Abi had a deep and loving connection to her family. Her most important friendship was with her older brother, Nicholas. Abi and Nick understood each other, confided in each other and loved each other very much. Her cousin, Lane Cambron, was very dear to her, providing an invaluable sisterly connection. Abi is survived by her parents, David and Donna; maternal grandparents Eleanor and Jessie Powell; paternal grandmother Dane Bryant; and her aunt, Sherry Bryant. Abi lives on in our hearts and minds while her organs give renewed hope and life to others in need. Abi was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was beautiful in mind, body and spirit and will no doubt light up the heavens with the other angels that have gone before her. Rest in peace, sweet angel. Mom, Dad and Nick love you deeply. A celebration of Abi' s life will be held at a time and place to be determined.

Abi was such a good friend to me at Reynolds, she has this energy about her that is rare to find in people and she will sorely be missed. My prayers and thoughts go out to the Bryant family and all other people that ever met her, because if you met her once you loved her.

I am so sorry to hear of everyone's loss! It brought back memories of Abi and I back at Wiley all the way through Reynolds! She was such a joy to pass in the halls at school, see out and about, hang out on the porch, and I was so proud to say that I was friends with her. It makes me so sad to hear that she is no longer with us but brings much joy knowing that she is with so many other angles watching over each of us everyday. My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone. "Live you life each day as you would climb a mountain. Dear Family,

My prayers are with you.

It hurts to hear Abi is gone but brings much joy to know the impact she made on so many.

The days at MP, playing baseball and basketball, the summer trips, the potluck dinners, and the night games on the big field will always be some of my greatest memories.

Nick has always been someone I looked up to.

The Bryant Family,

Nick & The Bryant Family,
Going back to when I met Abi in middle school I can distinctly remember her unique style and note worthy personality. Although life sent us on our seperate ways the memories of Abi and our times together will never relinquish. I share my thoughts with the family and friends who were closest to Abi. A special heart felt thought is shared with you Nick, we were also friends and able to create memories together and I know how much you loved your sister and the true bond you held with her. I met you guys back in the 80's (through Greg Saylor, I think). Even though I have not seen you both in many, many yrs, I was shocked to read about Abi in the paper today.
