Jason Bryant

Jason Bryant, 44, of Newtown WV, passed away at his home on March 23, 2026. He was born on February 4, 1982, in South Williamson, KY, to Paul Michael Bryant and Jenny Adkins.

Jason had a deep love for music, especially singing and playing the piano. Through his ministry, he touched countless lives with his faith, compassion, and talent. He dedicated 13 years of service to Trinity Nursing Home in Williamson, where he was known for his kindness and gentle spirit.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Jenny Adkins and step-father Charlie Adkins; his Father Paul Michael Bryant. His wife of 14 years, Valerie Bryant of Newtown, and his daughter, Haley Williams his brother, Austin Bryant; his sister, Kayla (Eric) Hammond; his nephew, Landon Hammond; and his niece, Nevaeh Hammond. Additional loved ones include his father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Charlene Hunt; Also his Brother-in-laws Albert (Sheena) Hunt and David Hunt his special aunt, Kay Fields; and his dear friend, Rev. Jason Allen.

Visitation will be held at Chafin Funeral Home on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a special service at 7:00 p.m. led by Missy Fields Webb. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Jason Allen officiating.

Burial will follow at Ellis and Hatfield Cemetery in Newtown, WV, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
