Dear Stephanie & Family,

It is with great sadness that I learned yesterday of your dear mother's passing. I , too, like Nick remember the good & fun times we shared when we visited with you in North Carolina. One particular instance stands out vividly in my mind of when Vince, myself & the kids were visiting. Your mom was going to join us for a cookout and had brought over a container of beautiful flowers. As you transferred the flowers, you discarded (in the kitchen sink which had a garbage disposal) what was left in the container, thinking they were ice cubes to keep the flowers fresh. When your mom realized this, we quickly learned that in the bottom of the container were marbles, not ice cubes! How we laughed! You said "they were marbles? Why did you put marbles in there for momma?" And momma said "well, I thought they'd be a nice decoration!" I recall you carefully picking the marbles out of the garbage disposal! Christina and Danielle still remember that day too.

May your memories keep you strong. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May God's peace and comfort surround you and give you strength.

With love,

Vince, Susie, Christina & Danielle

Stephanie, Jason, and Micky Leigh,

My heart, my thoughts, and my wonderful memories of "momma" are with you during this difficult time. Remembering her as I do, she would smile and say, "don't be sad, I'll see you all again. Instead, celebrate the time we had together and the love we shared... I'm with your daddy now. And Our Lord is AWESOME!!"

May God's peace fill your hearts as He comforts and heals you.
