Bennett Holleman Obituary

Bennett Franklin Holleman

November 5, 1973 - December 12, 2024

Bennett Franklin Holleman (Ben), Nov. 5, 1973 Dec. 12, 2024 was preceded in death by his parents Dr. I. L. Holleman Jr. (Ike) and Marjorie Edwards Holleman. He is survived by two brothers, Ivan Holleman (Little Rock, AR); Sam Holleman (Nottingham, England); Aunt & Uncle Elizabeth Ann and Ron Joyner (Decatur, GA); cousins Anna and Maria Joyner (Decatur, GA); Daniel Joyner (Tuscaloosa, AL); and Kevin Davis (Sharpsburg, GA).

Ben was a lifelong resident of North Carolina, mostly in Winston-Salem. He held a master's degree from UNC-G. Ben will be remembered for his gentle and fun-loving nature, the selfless care he provided for his mother in her later years and his love of gaming and all things video.

There will be no single-site memorial event scheduled for Ben. We ask that friends and family hold memorials for 15-30 minutes as they gather this holiday season, remembering Ben and supporting each other during their grief. We suggest sharing stories and memories of Ben and praying for his peace. A group of photographs and stories are available to support this by emailing [email protected]. A pdf formatted packet will be sent to you upon request. Condolences and other communications can be made to the same email address.
