TODAY HAS BEEN ONE OF THOSE DAYS. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT YOU GUYS ARE GOING THROUGH. BRIAN CROSSES MY MIND EVER SO OFTEN. HE WAS A GREAT GUY. I KNOW GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES, BUT ITS HARD TRYING TO DEAL WITH THE FACT HE WAS SO YOUNG AND FULL OF LIFE,AND HAD SO MANY THINGS AHEAD OF HIM. I GUESS GOD HAD ANOTHER PLAN FOR HIM. SEE , I KNOW THESE THINGS ARE TRUE BECAUSE 8 YEARS AGO I ALMOST LOST MY LIFE IN A CAR ACCIDENT. GOD HAD PLANS FOR ME HERE. WE WILL NEVER KNOW WHYTHINGS HAPPEN, BUT JUST KNOW THERE IS A PLAN FOR EACH AND EVERYONE OF US. U ARE NOT PROMISED TOMMOROW, SO LIVE EACH AND EVERYDAY LIKE ITS YOUR LAST. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER. I WILL CHECK IN ON YOU GUYS FROM TIME TO TIME.

It's hard to believe that it has been a month since we lost Brian. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him. There are so many special memories I have of him tucked away in my heart. He was a very special person and will be missed by so many.
To Lynne: Your courage and strength have been an inspiration to all that have watched you as you have dealt with this tragedy. Your faith in knowing that Brian is in a much better place is obviously the strength that makes all of this bearable. I pray that you never lose that faith. He is at peace!!!!
August 23, 2008
It will soon be a month since Brian's passing. It don't seem like it. Everytime I went to BGS I was in the pits and I just kept on waiting for Brian to walk by with that smile he had. It is so good to see that his sons are in the pits with Gene. I knew Brian and I miss him. I just know now that he is up there watching over his friends and family. Brandon, Austin, Zach you boys look just like him. And I hope to all see you in some kind of racing. R.I.P. BRIAN !!!

I know this is a hard time for the family and you have my sympathy. Brian was a very caring and loving person. He will be missed on the track as well as in everyones heart that knew and loved him so very much. He had so much love to spread around. Just remember, he is in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To the Pack Family,
I have known Brian since we were little kids. We pretty much grew up together, part of that time he was my step-brother. I have such great memories of our family vacations and holidays. Brian was always such a good person and lots of fun to be around. I know its hard, but just remember he is in a good place and he will always be watching over us.
Love you all,
Courtney and Jeff Westmoreland

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I just learned today of Brian's untimely passing. I am greatly saddened and I am in shock. I remember Brian as not only a classmate, but a dear friend with a smile forever on his face and a kind word for everyone. He set a good example for his children by living his dreams to the fullest without fear, but with determination, hard work, honor, and love. He leaves behind loved ones who will honor him with the utmost respect.
My deepest prayers and sympathies are extended to his beloved wife, Julie, his precious children, his proud family, and his faithful fans.

I can't believe it has been two weeks today since Brian has been gone. He was MY angel anyway but now he is with God and is one of his angels. Words cannot descibe the pain I feel everyday and I grieve every second of every day from losing him and I know your family does too. Life is funny sometimes and no one can understand why. He had so much love for everybody...especially his 3 boys. He loved them more than life itself. I will miss Brian and so will alot of other people. We had our special times and now all I have are memories. May God bless all of your family. You lost a good person and he will be missed for a very long time. Take care Austin, Brandon and Zach. Your daddy loved you 3 more that anything in the world cause he told me so. I am sorry for your loss. Love you all!

Where to begin?....I had the privilege to meet Brian at "the Stadium"..what a genuine man-I mean, he was real! Crazy things happen for crazy reasons....Always remember that Brian was a great man and a wonderful father. I too always saw him with at least one of his boys. Find comfort in knowing that he will always be with you!! You have all the support and comfort in the entire racing community and if anything is needed....please ask. I will never forget my first memory of Brian; he had the confederate flag on the roof of his car and the officials made him cover it up!! We laughed about it. No matter where you saw him or what he was doing, he would always look up and smile…again a genuine smile. I did not know him well but I knew him well enough to respect him. Watching Martinsville and The North-South Shootout will no longer be the same. God Speed Brian....you will be missed!

Our condolences to the family of Brian. Our prayers go out especially to you, the wife, and more importantly the precious children that have lost their father. My husband, Richie Mabe, went to school with Brian. Although I did not know him personally, I too was devastated by the loss of my first husband due to a 4-wheeler accident. Left behind was our 6 month old daughter. I will say to you, the wife, what was said to me on that tragic day - "...and the children shall rise up and call you blessed.....". I will keep you in my prayers as well as the rest of your family.

To the entire Pack family:
I am so very sorry to hear of your tragic loss. Brian was a great man, and a great daddy. I think there may have been 2 times I saw him without at least one of the boys. We will have treasured memories of him, from riding out there, to arenacross when Brandon's helmet was bigger than he was, to the Yager machine, even just hanging out in the garage. Brian was a VERY enthusiatic daddy, and that is so hard to find! There are 2 cases I will never forget, 1) there was one night y'all came by Ricky's and the boys were at friends or something and Brian was sooo excited cause he had gotten one of them a pair of Nike Shox I think they were white and green... and he couldn't wait to show it to him, and Julie and I were joking about men being worse than the kids.. That night my Husband, Brian said he couldn't wait to have little boys to do stuff like that for and he wanted to be a dad like Brian. Well now we have 2 Lil Brian and Brandon (oddly enough) and I will ALWAYS think about that. the second one we were at the go cart races out near madison and we were in the back of the trailer in front of a fan, Lil Brian was oly like 4 or 5 months old, and Julie was holding him saying Brian don't this make you want another one?!?! And Brian was laughin saying his name is even Lil'Brian, he thought that was neat!Although I have not known him my whole life like my husband, I will never forget him or the memories. Julie my heaert goes out to you and if you need anything please call. same goes for you boys, y'all are growing up and becoming young men now and I know your daddy will always be looking down on you, proud as ever! Be there for eachother and your mom and know God is ALWAYS there for you, he has a plan and as hard as it is to cope with, there is a reason he needed your daddy as an angel. We will all miss Brian so very much... Grubbs Road will NEVER be the same, neither will alot of other things. We are praying for y'all. Keep your heads up! You all were your daddy's world!!!

He will be truely missed and know that he will always be with you in thoughts, memories, and your heart. This time will be difficult and trying but please remember that there are people here to help just ask.

The world needs more Brian Pack's. One of the few qualified as 'GOOD' people. Directly &/or indirectly, I've been blessed to know of a great family, people & community man who knew & encouraged hard work. What he represented will certainly be missed.

To the entire Pack family and race team, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of Brian. What an honor to a true racer to have the entire family push his car around the track, that had to take alot but that shows how strong the family can be in a time of loss. Our hearts feel the sorrow and our prayers are with all of you.
