Mr. Felix Doggett, my grandfather's baby brother, will always be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him. He was born in 1908, and became for our family, a wonderful raconteur of stories about his childhood and the Doggetts of Brown Summit.
Growing up in Rural North Carolina in the first quarter of the last century, he saw many changes in his lifetime and was able to precisely remember every detail in the stories he told. Uncle Felix will be missed greatly by us all. I thank God for the opportunity to have learned from Felix about where I came from....
