Fredrick Einstein Obituary

Fredrick "Freddy" Earl Einstein, 81, peacefully passed on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Clemmons Village II.
Born in Winston-Salem to Fredrick M. Einstein and Edna Earl Clinard Einstein on June 3, 1943, he was a graduate of RJ Reynolds High School. He graduated from Appalachian State in 1966, where he was a two-time NCAA All-American Golfer. He turned pro after college and worked with the Duke University golf program. After regaining his amateur status, he went on to win too many golf tournaments to count. Notably, he won the Forsyth County Invitational Championship in 1973. He was also the President of Bermuda Run Country Club for a period in the 2000's.
Freddy was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1963 to 1968.
From 1976 to 1991, Freddy worked for the Chesapeake Packaging Company and was one of the founders of Alliance Display and Packaging Company in 1991. He worked there until his retirement in 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick M. Einstein and Edna Earl Clinard Einstein; and brother-in-law, David Yountz.
Freddy is survived by his wife, Clarice Farrington Einstein; sons, Greg Einstein (Janet) and Chip Einstein (Amy); grandchildren, Brandon Einstein, Nikki Einstein, Thomas Einstein and Charley Einstein; brother, Jimmy Einstein (Beth); and sister, Peggy Yountz.
So much gratitude goes to his caregivers at Clemmons Village II.
Celebration of Life will be 3 p.m., on Saturday, August 17, at Maple Chase Country Club, 5475 Germanton Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27105.

Clarice and Family, I just saw the passing of your Freddie. Know that I´m thinking of you. It will be hard but you´ll make it, as I have after loosing David.

Clarice. Freddie's parents and my parents were good friends and played golf all the time. We actually lived down the street from one another.
Glad to see he looked so happy from the picture you all posted. I lost my husband last May and I know your sorrow.
