Mrs. Jacqueline "Jackie" Tuttle Lawson, 68, of Walnut Cove went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, after a long illness. Jackie was born in Stokes County to the late Russell and late Umie Tuttle. She was a member of Meadows Baptist Church. She is survived by her devoted husband, Rubert Lawson of the home; two sons, Andy (Teresa) Lawson of Germanton and Todd (Stacia) Lawson of Clayton; a step-granddaughter, Stephanie (John) Allen of Lupton, England; seven sisters, Imogene (Fred) White of Pinnacle, Maxine Shutt of Winston-Salem, Sylvia Culler of Walkertown, Patsy (Larry) Vestal of Germanton, Joan Brown of Quaker Gap, Dell (Bud) Goins of Rural Hall, Sheliah (Rick) Jarrell of King; a brother James (Fonda) Tuttle of Westfield; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Pastor Ricky Craig and Speaker Larry Vestal. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland family cemetery in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at Hayworth-Miller in Rural Hall. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Forsyth Medical Center for the wonderful care they gave Jackie.
