"For I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that Love his appearing...."

To the Jenkins Family,
Allow me to express my sympathy to all of you in the passing of one of the greatest christian personalities that I knew. My time with him at Sara Lee Direct was so much fun, with him trying to teach me to sing. However, there were many days that he grimmaced with pain although he would say everything was alright. So many times last month on Sunday mornings, I wanted to exit 52 at Liberty Street to go into Canaan, just to tell him hello. That is an opportunity that is not allowed me anymore, and I do miss him so much. Thank God HE has it all in control, and I am assured of seeing my Christian brother again. I shall never forget his wisdom, his quietness, and his love for our Heavenly father. I am made the better, just for knowing him. God bless and I love you all.
