HARRISBURG, Pa. - Joseph B. McClinton Sr., 72, proud son of Lonnie and Verdie McClinton, passed suddenly Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, at home. Joseph retired from Chelsea Auto Parts after 40 years of service. His passion and love for his church, Faith Chapel Church of God in Christ, was exemplified by his work as deacon, trustee, usher and outreach minister. Joe will be sadly missed by his loving children, Joseph Jr., Nile Tee, Laura and Michael McClinton and Jackie Ann Johnson; his stepchildren, Gary, James and Charles Flood, and Henrietta Johnson and Dell Smith; his sister, Thelma Greene; and 10 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of his life at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at Pleasant Union Primitive Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, N.C. Burial will follow in the Bailey Town cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Gilmore Funeral Home Service. (Gilmore)
