When a loved one becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure...

October 18, 1917 - February 28, 2010 A great man walked upon our land between these dates and we are blessed because of it.

"And when I look into my children's eyes, there...I will see you too, for they are laughing, living legacies of the papaw we once knew"

I certainly hope our relatives are meeting. What an meeting that will be! Be encouraged friends...the best is yet to come!

My sincerest sympathies to you and your family Gray- By all accounts, I understand what a remarkable man and a very special person he was- just remember all he said, all he did, and his warm gestures towards your family and others, and it will comfort you for your lifetime..no words can quite comfort people at a time like this, we all know that- but all that you have shared with me, about your Grandfather-was by all accounts very heartwarming, and enlightening.. God will comfort your children as well, and it will take a little time to get through this for them- sending my hugs as always- Barb Starkey...
