Barbara and Julie I am heartbroken
I have been so sad since David passed and now Sam. Why do the good ones have to leave us so soon.
I have thought of the both of you so much. I allowed myself to get so sad over David, I cut myself off from the world. I wish I had called you on at least one of the occasions that I thought of you. May God bless you both, I am so sorry, I guess he and David can sell together again. Love you very much, Kay

Sam and I worked together after he got out of the Army. My Dad Clay Macy and Sam were parters in a furniture store for years. Sam was always looking forward to make things bigger and better. He had a great vision for Elmores to be one of the biggest and best. We were good friends and I will miss him.

My deepest sympathies are with the Elmore family and friends. I did not have the fortune to know Mr. Elmore, but as a friend of his daughter Julie, I have witnessed her clearly inherited commitment to community.

Sam's was surely a well-lived life. The highlight was probably having you and your daughter in it. Our hearts and prayers are with you. Peace.
