WATSON DEEP GAP, N.C. Louise Bledsoe Watson September 29, 1915 - January 25, 2010 Mrs. Louise Bledsoe Watson, age 94, of 6549 Old Highway 421 South, Deep Gap, died Monday evening, January 25, 2010, at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Watson was born September 29, 1915 in Ashe County, a daughter of the late Rufus and Addie Waugh Bledsoe. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Watson was a Sunday School Teacher and member at Laurel Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Watson is survived by four daughters, Mary Brown and husband Luther of Boone, Alice Greene and husband Bob of Winston-Salem, Adelene Whitman and husband Johnny of King, North Carolina, and Hilda Mabe and husband Woody of Walkertown, and five sons, Charles Watson and wife Darlene of Deep Gap, Willie Watson and wife Jo of Vilas, Kenny Watson and wife Gloria of Deep Gap, Keith Watson and wife Sally of Lewisville, and Kerry Watson of Deep Gap. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, six great great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Watson; three brothers, Claude, Bob, and Bill Bledsoe, and two sisters, Eula Moretz and Jean Phillips. Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Bledsoe Watson will be conducted Thursday afternoon, January 28, 2010, at 2:00 o'clock, at Laurel Springs Baptist Church. The body will lie in state, at the church, from 12:30 until 2:00 o'clock. Officiating will be Reverend Brent Bolick. Burial will follow in Laurel Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon, from 12:30 until 2:00 o'clock, at the church, prior to the service.
