YOUNGKIN WINSTON-SALEM - Marian Pauline Maynard Youngkin Sept. 11, 1915 - Jan. 17, 2012 Marian Pauline Maynard Youngkin went home to be with Jesus on January 17, 2012. Marian Pauline Maynard Youngkin was born on September 11, 1915, in Decatur County, Iowa. Marian was the daughter of Frank O. and Ettie Rains Maynard and was the youngest of four children, all whom are deceased. She was married to Glenn Youngkin and made their life in Florida and North Carolina. She enjoyed cooking, being with family and friends, and the Atlanta Braves. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Youngkin in 1979. Her daughter, Glenda Youngkin Delp in 1978. Her Son-In-Law, Carroll Wayne Delp in 2010. Marian is survived by one son, Carroll Wayne Youngkin (Ellis) of The Villages, FL. Two granddaughters, Lynn Delp Cribb (Paul) of Winston-Salem, NC, Dorothy Youngkin Kouba (Chris) of Chesapeake, VA. One grandson, Glenn A Youngkin, (Suzanne) of Great Falls, VA. She also has seven special great grandchildren. She was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church in Advance, NC. The memorial service details will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made to Arbor Acres Methodist Home at 1250 Arbor Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
