Dear Glenn Family,
My first assignment as an assistance principal was at Paisley where I was fortunate to have Mattie Glenn as the lead secretary. Ms.Glenn (as I always called her) was so welcoming and kind to me. She was the ultimate professional and took me under her wing. I will be forever grateful for knowing her.

May God give you comfort and peace during this difficult time. Your hearts will one day be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Mattie was such a lovely person with a kind heart and spirit. I love her and will surely miss her. Rest in Paradise, my sister.

Lisa, sending my deepest, understanding sympathy to you and your family in the death of your beautiful mother. I knew her first as your mother when you were in my 6th grade class at Brunson - then I had the good fortune to work with her for a few years at Paisley. You are blessed to have had such an outstanding roll model these many years!

I am saddened to hear of Mattie's passing. I was fortunate to work with her for 30+ of her years at Paisley and knew her as kind, considerate, and the consummate professional. My sincerest condolences to Lisa and the rest of the family.
